 Lowrance Sonar stuck at 2 ft

I Have a Gen 2 touch at my console installed it a couple of years ago and decided to use the existing transducer for sonar transducer when I installed it. The existing transducer is a thru hull but it has worked great for two years.
The other day the sonar and downscan screens were stuck at 2 ft. If I disable the 2d sonar the downscan starts working but if I turn the 2d sonar back on they both go back to 2 ft. I figured there must be some interference going on but I adjusted the angle of the LSS transducer and still I can't run my 2d sonar.
Has anyone has this happen?
I've tried selecting different transducers in settings, turned off structure scan, changed frequency to 83 kHz, changed from shallow water to general use etc. all with no luck.
I'm looking for advice any suggestions on how to troubleshoot the issue are appreciated. Thanks

replace the thru hull transducer. Sounds like its toast.
