Planned to fish the Brazos this weekend with a buddy but we ended up both being sick. I did drive down there though, and noticed that A) it has gone waaaaaay down since last time I was there...there's actually a bank to stand on again and B) It was a nice bluish-green color rather than mucky brown, pretty clear for the Brazos. Given the time of year, water color and low water level (still falling too I believe), anyone have any suggestions for fishing these conditions?

The Brazos is a sweet lady. She will give you some nice cats. Just fish it normal. The river is finally back to normal after all the flooding we got around here this season.

Where are you fishing near College Station? I've tried bank fishing 3 times during high fast water and always managed one or two 5 lb blues but not a lot of action. I've been meaning to get back out there, but the amount of irresponsible people out there with their firearms has turned me off. (happened all 3 times and at 2 different spots)

We fish back where the Little River comes into the Brazos. Closes bridge is FM 485 and Hwy 79 just over by Hearne. You fishing Hwy 21 of Hwy 60? I know 21 they use to be bad with target practicing down there.

The worst of it was off Batts Ferry Rd just south of College Station. Which to be fair is in the middle of nowhere, but no one deserves bullets flying over their shoulders while their trying to relax and bank fish
