I'm going to add a basic, inexpensive depth finder on the front of my boat. I need mainly the depth finder with a basic graph. Started looking at cheap depth finders (between $100 & $150) and have lots of options. Any suggestions or comment would be helpful on a basic depth finder.

I think they're all pretty close in that price range. Probably the most important thing that you could look for would be the size of the screen. Typically the cheap ones are pretty tiny so hard to get much detail on then.

I'd try asking on the classified section to find a used one. Can probably find a little larger used one that is outdated by today's standards but would be better than the new $150 unit. I've just given away old units because they aren't really worth anything but they still function great for a basic fish finder

I agree with Bobby. Find a better used unit & get as much bang for your buck.
