Just moved here from the Midwest and fished several power plant lakes in Illinois. Found out that there are a few here like Squaw Creek and I think someone said Monticello.

I've looked at Bass Pro and Cabela's but it doesn't appear that they make any lake maps for it.

Is there any vegetation on the lake? Is there threadfin shad in this lake? It's what we looked for in Illinois.(I saw that it has Tilapia....that's an interesting one to me....I've seen them in the hippo enclosures at the zoo in St. Louis and thought they only ate hippo poop, LOL).

Any areas that are more productive, or areas that I should just eliminate? Not looking for someone's secret spot, just looking for some of that Texas hospitality "ya'll" are known for, and some insight on how to approach this lake and productive fall/winter patterns.

you guys have been helpful so far on Granbury and Benbrook, so keep that Texas charm up guys.

much obliged!
