From what I see the boat lanes are pretty well marked there. I am going to Murvaul for a three days stay on the lake. I might have to sneak out and drive down to fish one day at Naconiche. Notice the white buoys that mark the lanes in the video.

The boat lanes are well marked but it was hard to fish anything that as in the timber last time I was there. There was a lot of trees that were laid over floating and tangled in the standing trees so you couldn't get to where you wanted. Plus the trees were so rotten if you hit one wrong one you would have a tree in the boat. BUT, it's a pretty cool lake that has some good fish and is worth a trip just to check it out. I will go back again

Love the lake!
No jet skis,
Well marked boat lanes.
Hydrilla,
peace and quiet.
And yes, there are big fish.
2 years ago, my first trip on the lake, got into 3-4 pound schoolers and flipped up an 8 pounder.
Very next week, friend caught a 10 pounder.
Yes, the timber is laydowns now, but it's a great lake...
Worth the hour drive from J'ville to me..

Does any of the mapping software systems cover Lake Naconiche? I can't find one.

It has so much timber I doubt it can be mapped anytime soon.

no maps.
creeks are easy to find.
look for yellow barricades on the bank for the old roadbeds.

Beautiful lake, from a couple of years ago.

A good rule of angling philosophy is not to interfere with another fisherman's ways of being happy, unless you want to be hated.

That looks like my kind of lake. Nasty laydowns everywhere. Flip and pitch over inch. Might take a lifetime to cover ever option on that lake smile
