I know there is a similar post active right now, it was asking about 2 specific models of rain Bibs. I didn't want to invade his thread with my own question so I wanted to broaden the post a little bit. I'm look to invest in some Bibs for the cold weather this winter, and was wondering what are some of your favorite pair? There are multiple brands out there that create good products but I wanted some personal feedback from the TFF. Anything helps!

Cabela's brand canvas shell bib overalls are the best, most durable, warmest bibs I've ever had. Couple that with their canvas insulated coat (carhartt knock-off) and I'm good down to the coldest temps I care to spend any time outdoors in. They are likely a bit heavier than a lot of others out there, but they are warm and have lasted me 3yrs so far, and no sign yet that they are giving up.
No second choice for me.
If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space!

I am a firm believer in both the Bass Pro 100 MPH gear and their Pro Qualifier line. To be honest, any brand you go with that is constructed of Gore Tex will work great.

I have wore both Cabellas Guidewear and BPS 100mph bibs & jackets. Both are GREAT Gore Tex suits. I'm usually to cheap for "high-end fads" but Gore Tex is one of the best investments in extending my fishing season to all year long. I have wore my Guidewear in 35 degree rain and stayed comfortable(and dry) all day. There are more expensive suits(Simms, Huk...) but these two choices are excellent investments. My only advise is: 1. I bought mine on an Internet sale from Cabellas. Went to the store, tried on various sizes, ordered them online right at the store and picked them up right there! 2. Buy the uninsulated suits slightly oversized so you can layer underneath. That way you can add a coat or hoddie underneath for cold weather yet have a multi-season suit. The insulated suits are too hot for spring and fall, let alone summer.

I'm to poor but would get 100mph. It blocks the wind too so doesn't have to be just for rain. But last year I went with bpd basic bibs. Got them a size bigger and I just dress in layers. I would have gone back with 100 mph then but needed better rods and reels.

Artic Armor #1 by far plus the safety factor of floating, now they have a special with free gloves which are excellent. I have never been cold, wet or uncomfortable in mine. They are worth every cent.

I bought Walls insulated bibs at walmart 2 years ago for $60. I have never been cold or wet wearing them and they still look like new. If I ever wear them out (which doesn't look possible) I'll just buy another pair of them.

I use Cabela's Guidewear Gore Tex for warmer weather and Arctic Armor for cold weather.
