I am going to be up at Texoma helping a friend out. We will be fishing a company tournament and the winner gets 2 extra days off. So he wants me to fish with him. The one problem is I have been mainly fishing for cats and crappie the last few years. So I am a little rusty on the bass fishing front. but I have never fished Texoma for bass. We can catch either kind. large or small. So if someone can tell me the best baits to use this time of year it would be great. I have never caught a smallmouth so am excited to get one. any help would be great it will be in 2 weeks. I am not interested in places but more in depths and baits. thanks for help.

The gene pool could use a little chlorine.

green pumpkin tubes on deep points and rock ledges will get you some of the smallmouths, Large mouths if your not kicking up mud you are fishing too deep. good luck
