brucevannguyen here some of today's action for you right where I sent you the map to try. Make sure your lures bump bottom.Good luck. The last one went 12 lbs and Chartreuse and White was hot today.

This is Lake Fort Phantom Hill near Abilene. It's a West Texas lake and really does better with a 15-20mph wind. The fun part is you can usually catch them sun up to sun down and all during the day in between. The cooler water at about 69 degrees now makes them fight harder so if your coming use big line 20lb is recommended. Most of us here practice catch-snap and release so we are getting bigger fish each year. I have caught as large as 14.6 lbs which would have been a record until a live shad (shore fisherman) caught a 16 pound hybrid. It's a muddy lake you will have to make some noise. I tried yelling "Hear fishy fishy" but it didn't help. Trolling with deep running bait that will bang the bottom, jigging with a Bo Bo Thumper will work. I play the Michael Jackson station on Pandora with my system cranked up and it works real well. It don't guarantee it helps the fishing but, with the music and a few beers, we quit caring if we land a fish or not. Throw up a hammock from the trolling motor to the center helm and your fishing buddies have a great place to rock & relax while waiting on a strike. On hot days I put up an umbrella in the seat lock mount and cool between fishing runs to let my arm rest or just cool off in the water with a floatie.

Good Luck

I always get a kick out of your post! I have a similar fishing technique minus the hammock! I need to get lost sometime and try this lake out.
