Definitely the toughest event I've fished. I will be fishing local rivers with current to improve my knowledge this coming year.

Very good write up.
I was a few spots out of making the cut for the Reg. FLW called earlier in the week saying they had some drop out and wanted to know if I could fish. I was expecting a call but decided to stay home. Lake I've never fished. Other stuff I needed to do, just moved into a new house we built.
Maybe next year.
Please keep us informed.
Thanks Billy
Thanks, Billy

Andrew and Billy, I fished it last time a regional was there and absolutely hated it. Not sure why, when they announced the regional this year I decided it was not somewhere I wanted to go so I skipped out on the BFL's. Especially in light of the fact that guys could drive an hour or two from their houses in NW Arkansas and qualify in the Okie and then fish their home lake. Or do the same up in Missouri, all those lakes are closer together than it is for me to drive from Dallas to Rayburn. But looking at the results the locals stunk it up. Day two update below. Ken, I can understand. However, we have classic winners and men that fish strictly for a living in BFL. You can not let that get to you. Next year is on the red and that's 30% of the cowboy divisions home water. I simply did not perform.

If I could have pre fished a time or two I might have considered. But I work a lot and my wife's new decorating project, I mean our new house is taking a lot of time.
Won't be long and we will be starting up for 2017
I am thinking about fishing two Okie div tournaments if work lets me
Thanks, Billy
