About to invest in a couple, I've heard nothing but good things! My questions are...

What size should I buy?
What colors do you prefer?
What hooks do you use?

Don't want to waste money! Thanks for the help!

I use the 90 in loon and monkey butt. I have a few of the 130's, but I have not used them yet.

There's a 12+ pound striper in Tawakoni with a 130 monkey butt in his lip...
If found, please return.
That'll teach me to have the net on the deck at all times!
The 90's work too. I know it and bone have worked as well.

"Slow ahead." I can go slow ahead. Come on down here and chum some of this [censored].

Monkey Butt or Terminator are good colors. There is quite a bit of difference between the 130 and 90. The 90 gets me a lot more bites so far. The action on is closer to a Heddon Torpedo. It doesn't create a big plop like the 130. I am still waiting for some hawgs to start eating the 130.

The stock hooks are really sharp. You won't need to replace them until you catch a bunch of fish.

Not much on it - would rate it ordinary and might be better off using another style of top water in fall

Can't say that I've been overly impressed. Hasn't out produced my other favorite topwater baits yet.

They definitely do! I found a little trick with these. After throwing it let it sit until the ripples go away, then retrieving it a painfully slow pace just enough to spin the tail for about a foot, it doesn't take much to spin it, then wait a few seconds and bring it another foot. Do this 3 or four times before you finally bring it back to the boat at a faster rate.
