Which cards are yall using and what do you like about one or the other. Also asking if anyone is using the SmartStrike card. I have two Helix 12's that will be here tomorrow and I am looking at the cartography options.

Thanks

The best for you is the one that has the waters you want.

You can download the lake list for Lakemaster.
Check the list for the Smartstrike locations also.

You can view the current Navionics maps on their website's Web App

Do the Lakemaster chips cover coastal waters or only inland lakes?

Freshwater, almost useless in Texas coast. Navionics is very good

The smartstrike card so far has been very beneficial, especially for new lakes

Interesting, I figured it was pretty much just an up sale.

Honestly I did too. But it has the same features as the regular lakesmaster card. So I was able to find it for not much more than the newer version Lakemaster. I mainly used it for stripers/hybrids and sand bass. Just about every area I have been able to check I have marked fish and even caught a few. It definitaly has some potential, I actually have one for both units now

I placed two separate orders and each took about 2 weeks so no not really. When I ordered mine they were the only ones I found that were not $199 with the latest version. Maybe there may be some other places now
