I think it could be a 6-8ft squarebill diver or a chartreuse willow blade spinner bait what do y'all think?

Anything crank bait would be a response from most anglers...whether it is lipless, square bill, deep diving, etc....I can see where these crankbaits would come in handy for burning up in creek channels and on points to locate the bass since they are normally feeding on bait fish. You will have some anglers swear by spinner baits, whether it is willow blade, colorado blade, skirted, not skirted, it just all depends on what the fish are feeling... Heck, just a few weeks ago I was only catching them on a 6 in finnesse worm that was a deep purple with blue/green fleck on a shaky head rig. Thats all they would bite on.

My advice would be to have three-four poles already rigged up so you can feel out an area and hone in one what they are biting. One pole would be a crank bait, next would be a spinner, third would be some sort of jerk bait or spook, and fourth I would rig finnesse...and your finnese can be anything from wacky, texas, carolina, or drop shot...whichever you feel more confident with.

Fluke--if schooling on top (weightless or nail weight); middle of the water column (split shot); on bottom (shaky or crig)

Completely agree, fluke has always been my go to, followed closely by a swim jig....

I don't care what anyone says, square bill has flat out been catching fish no matter where I fish it. Not just creek channels and points.

The best bait to use whether you are in grass, lilly pad's, rock, wood, sandy bank, dock's, light's in my opinion is a fluke or a power jerk shad. These sucker's flat catch fish. They will work effectively until the water get's in the low 60's. It is a confidence thing for me. I will fish them all day every day. They made for a great weekend at the Berkley Big Bass Tournament a few weeks ago.

Rigged weightless?

Most will say weightless. I like the tiny 1/16 pinch bullet on the nose of the fluke to make it spiral down like a dying bait fish. It helps a lot in the wind also.

Add CBs to the list and you should have it done. Hope this helps. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.
