I have to take a spool of 50lb Power Pro back to BPS today. I bought it a week ago and went to load a couple reels last night. When I took the spool out of the box, the label was already pushed through the hole and there was only about 30 yards of line left on a 100 yard spool. First of all, if you did this and returned it to the store and got a refund or exchange, you're stealing which is sorry. Second, it's worth it to pull the spool out of the box in the store to make sure it at least visually looks brand new. Lesson learned.

Sorry to hear that Tom, it's happened to me but with oil filters. Thought I bought an expensive Mobil 1 filter, got home ready to install and someone swapped it out with a cheap one... mad bang I check it out now before I buy..

I donated a cast net to the rocks one morning and it was still dark so I went and bought another at WallyWorld. Black zip tie still on the plastic box, took it out, not one weight attached to it, completely ruined. Have opened car part boxes with old parts in them a few times, nice when you get it back home ready to install, then get back in the car for a round trip!

I got burned by the Invisx at Academy too.

Someone here posted a picture of a pack of tungsten weights where the originals were replaced with lead. Now that's low.
