Going to take my father out to the little lake inside Cleburne State Park. Lake looks full. Putting my bass boat in. Anyone fish this recently with some tips? Thank you, 361v.

I think it is a no wake lake. Might want to check the ramp will accommodate your boat.

Can be very tough for LMB--went a month ago and caught mostly cookie cutter 1-2lbers and one decent one.
It's better for crappie and white bass.
Deep lake with rocky ledges/drop offs : very shallow vegetation around the perimeter. The vegetation includes woody reeds and short woody brush
Lots of tiny shad and some blue gills. Good water clarity--about 4ft.

I'd take the following:
1: lipless
2: braid and a heavy rod for flipping the very shallow vegetation and limited timber
3: crig
4: drop shot
5: senko
6: 8-12ft crankbait
7: spoon
8: fluke
9: your favorite lures for white bass and crappie (small spinner baits, etc)

small topwater like a Pop-R also.
