Any insight on fishing little caney on lake fork? visiting this area for the first time this weekend.

For numbers......throw a buzz bait early and late.Watch for schoolers.C-Rig or crank deep.
Cover a lot of water.

First be careful running - you will see boats running this area and if they are they either have it marked very will or are nuts. Many lower units lost in this creek.

Points midway back on the south are great - and the fish could be moving to the very back which is fun fishing. You are in a great spot...go fish hard and you will catch them.

Buzzbait, whopper plopper, frog early - drop shot, trig and whacky anything should do the trick.

One tends to be cautious after having a 250 Merc laying across ones back deck... eeks

Good advice Ken, I'll be launching in the back of Little Caney tomorrow at hideaway, good fishing all back there.
That is a good option Bassar04 to consider, look at a map, you can find the marina back there.
It is very stumpy in lil candy, the whole creek is covered, until you learn it, idle a lot..
