It looks like the larger fish are positioned further up the creek, on secondary points, with smaller fish trailing behind on the primary creek points. Pea gravel/ grassy areas with flooded bushes in approx. 5 ft is what I am focusing on. It is also is wise to observe the prevailing wind and plan your day around those pockets facing the wind, where bait is likely to stack up. I've been throwing shad imitations for the past month with great success, after seeing thread fin schools on the creek points. I will make several presentations during the day, all different in their action, but still based on the thread fin.

How come I keep catching small fish when every product I buy is supposed to catch more and bigger fish?
