Try more movement on your drop shot. I think youll get double the bites. Great video. Love me some drop shot!
Thanks sinkey I do have to say this day they wanted it almost dead sticked they would flat out nail it when it was sitting still it was weird. Are you saying i should shake it more like with a slightly slack line? that is what I usually do unless they tell me otherwise
what size reel are you using? i have almost the exact set up but Im running a 3500 revo and it just seams to heavy might need to ge me a 2500 series
I think mine is a 30 smoke. Its little big as well and a piece of junk the anti reverse went out that day. Gonna have to upgrade to nice new lews spinning reel before spring. I would get a 20/2000 size reel or so I also have a 3500 revo S and its huge and bulky
Also IMO when using these style hooks and t-rigging your bait make sure to give a nice solid hookset straight up. Doesnt have to be supper hard but needs to be quick, I also use a pretty tight drag when fishing around docks and timber you will break off some fish but you have to take the risk because you will not get them out if they get in timber or under the dock. I lost a big one that same day when she stripped drag and wrapped up under the dock.
