Me too.

I have done that before and I don't exactly know why either.

I stay in one area too long. I need to hit more spots unless I am really on them in a certain area.

Not always rechecking spots later in the day.

For me, my worst habit is making a pile of all the baits I've used throughout the day. I could pick up my crankbait box, and get a new color out, then instead of cutting off the one I have and putting it back in that same box I already have out, my dumb self puts it next to the console on the drivers side. Sometimes I'll leave it there for a trip or two, so I finally crack and put the pile of lures back where they belong. That and not being more careful with dip-n-dye or my dye markers. Boat carpet has a few spots of chartreuse and blue.

It is really easy to get locked in on a spot and forget to pattern the fish. I am really good about not doing this, until a tourney rolls around and then I find myself hole sitting with 1 hour left to fish and nothing to show for it. flush_2

Not putting my baits back is my worst bad habit. I will have 6 crankbaits hanging and 12 bags of plastics not zipped up and laying on the floor.

Sitting too long in an area "knowing" the bite is about to start.

Not going to the lake often enough, one that I need to correct and start using my boat and gear more often!

I think pitching docks at Cedar Creek for 3 days has finally broken me of this habit.

Well it did for a little while at least, we will see if I can keep it up. Broke lines definitely cost us money.

This... sometimes I'm really good about eliminating water and putting together a pattern, but then i have a really good day and next week, I go right back to that spot and expect the same results. Sometimes thats the case but most times it is never as good. Then I have to start over after wasting a lot of my fishing time

Taking off from a spot without checking the deck of the boat. I've lost rods, gear, and even left my tolling motor down.... Each of those only happened once, but I now have a long checklist before I give the boat some gas!

Not being organized and throwing all my plastics in compartment. Then have to dig threw 30 to 40 packs to find the one I was looking for. And normally it was only just under the first few packs. And at the end of the day my cockpit looks like a plastic battlefield .
