Let's hear about some bad habits....mine is not sealing plastics bags before i put them in the compartment. I end up grabbing a bag and spilling them over and over again lol when I get back to the house have to try and figure out what goes where.

My bad habit is not taking the 20-30 seconds to put a rod in the rod box when I'm done using it. Next thing ya know I have a dozen rods all over the boat.

Im guilty of all of the above. Another one is leaving the trolling motor on 90 from trying to get out of your last spot and almost throwing yourself out of the boat when you drop it at the next.

Fishing spots rather than focusing on a pattern.

Interesting...

That was also the hardest bad habit to break for me when I started bass fishing more seriously. Once I started understanding patterns and learning how to focus on the lake below the surface instead of above the surface I became a better fisherman.

Not trying to use other baits. Picking up one rod and feel trying to make them Bite that

Man I do several of these bad habits lol. Getting better about putting my rods back in the rod locker when I pick up another after having dropped one off the side of my boat when pulling up my trolling motor in about 14ft of water one day and spending the next 30m dredging the bottom with a spoon to get it back...

I'm also bad about leaving hooks and lures laying around the boat when I re-tie... working on this now as my main bad habit.

Come to think of it, another is not bringing enough food for the day on the boat... working on this too!

Copenhagen while fishing and playing golf was by far the worst. Glad I left that behind.

My worst habit is to not give new baits or presentations a fair shake. If I'm getting skunked with all my favorite baits, I'll try a new bait. After a while, I don't catch anything on the new bait of course and make up my mind that the new bait isn't any good and don't try it when the fish are biting.

I find bait "A" they are hitting and change anyway to see if they are hitting bait "B" better and then "C" and so forth
