I just started fishing there this Spring, so I have no basis for comparison with previous years. But even after the drought, there are still tons of fish in that lake! I've had a really good time learning the lake and catching lots of fish. Most of mine came on weightless wacky senkos and weightless zoom 5" swimming super flukes. I caught fish reliably every trip through the Spring & Summer, including a 5 & an 8 - both out of the same spot on a senko.

That said, it has not been the same in the early Fall. The bite has been very slow, and the vegetation is a major problem. I don't mind fighting the vegetation if the bite is good, but that just hasn't been the case. I've tried frogs, punching with t-rigs & buzzbaits with very little success. So I'm open to suggestions on lures & presentations, but I'm also thinking I'm going to hold off until winter time when the veg is gone and the patterns are more predictable.
