Set out a sample trot line (only 10 hooks) a few days ago up against the bulkhead in the backyard baited with chicken livers. Checked it 4 times since and each time had from 2 to 3 channels on it averaging about 18-20" each.

Water temps dropped to 78*F and they seem to be hitting shoreline bulkheads like they do in the Spring.

They are biting well at fork in 30 feet deep also. I think there are so many fish in fork you could catch them just about any depth.
