Never been to the lake but I hear it's producing some good fish. Anyone want to let me in on a few tips? Going out tomorrow afternoon

Mid to south lake is usually a good place to fish around and docs are always pretty good.

South of 1097 bridge is more residential with docs but if you go north of 1097 then you get to more natural features with the national park taking up most of that space.

Awesome! I've heard the vegetation is good. I might try that out

Watch out for stumps on the north end. I'm of no help fishing, I need all the help I can get on Conroe.

Conroe is a different beast lot of brush piles. If you spend some time with your graph should be able to find a few. If no luck there the rip rap that is plentiful around the lake will hold fish.

Good luck getting any info, my friends wont even help me out when its tough. Fish what looks good, don't expect much doing that anymore than fishing boat docks. The lake fishes small! As far as grass its all shoreline up north. Hay grass on the shoreline.
