Fished with two guys Saturday. Started on the Main lake points outside of Johnson. Had 1 bite on the first cast. Fished for about a hour without a bite. Throwing top waters senko square bills, and Jigs. No takers.
Went to the Tree tops in 40 foot of water and druged Carolina rigged senkos and curly tail worms in the tops of the trees. The bite was on. Lost several good fish. Boated several others. The bite stopped so i took the guys to the spot.
When we got to the Wind Mill they showed to be stacked with crappie. Not what I wanted to see. But after We graphed it with the side image to see where they might be a big girl or two. We spotted several good fish towards the drop of near the old base. I told Daniel to make a cast to the base. I heard him say i got one. She was he personal best.
They are not stacked up yet but a few more cold fronts and they will be. They were stacked on the Hog pen but couldn't make them bite.
