I'm trying really hard to not pull the trigger on the Helix 12 SI deal going on at Universal Mania. I currently have a 999 on the bow and a 1199 on the console. If I were to replace the 1199 with the Helix 12 and move the 1199 to the bow, would the electrical plug connections on the rear of the units be the same so that all I would have to do is swap the cables to the quick connect plugs that go with their respective unit. I don't want to have to re-run cables up to the bow of the boat. Then I have the option of adding the 999 to the console or just selling it to someone looking for a good sonar.

yes, all you have to do is swap out head unit and cable collector. The helix comes with the same cables as the 1199 does
