The bass fishing has been ridiculous on the Yegua. Ran into the same herd of hogs about 2 weeks ago. Didn't spook them either. They all just came to the waters edge and watched me paddle onwards.

Awesome post You hit that first Sweet spot and didn't have to move. I don't have the energy to kayak my barge all the way to the Yegua, so we've been kayaking up Nails. I sure wish Newman's bottom was open. I went up to Irwin bridge this afternoon. The water was absolutely crystal clear around the bridge.
