I had Ethan out for a guided trip this morning. He also brought his Mom Jessica and Dad Joshua with him as part of his guided trip birthday present from his Uncle Don. The small fish bit like crazy today on most of the brush piles we fished. We finally found some bigger crappie on some timber and something big moved in and after breaking us off a couple of times the crappie totally shut off on that timber. We found a few more keepers but most of the protected brush piles had a boat on them this morning. They ended up almost fishing out 120 minnows and keeping 13 nice crappie and a channel cat. They had a great time for there first boat fishing trip.
