Which rod do you use to throw 10xds or other deep cranks?

805cb RM... If you're only buying this rod to throw 10xd, get the 806cb.

I agree with the 806. I have both the 805RM and the 806XD and the 806 is the better choice for me with the 8XD as well. They are both awesome rods.

If you throw primarily 6xd size cranks and the occasional mag crank the 805cb is the way to go.

I use both the 805 CB RM and the 806 CB rods for them. The 805 CB RM is not rated for the 10XD, but it is rated for the 8XD. It handles them farily well. BUT, the 806 is the one designed for it. Hope this helps. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

Plenty others have already said this, but I'll confirm--805 if you throw 5xd and 6xd more often than 10xd. If you're really looking to throw 8xds or 10xds primarily, then step up to 806.
