Fished cooper twice this month using cut shad on poles and jugs, all fish caught were small. Fished Doctors creek area 5-15'. Any suggestions?

As Drawout said drifting 30 to 40ft had been producing all the nice eaters you want. When the water dropped out of the 80s I havnt had much luck getting on the bigger fish but it shouldn't be to long until they start acting right.
