Has anyone used the Cabela's Tournament ZX rods? I have seen them in store recently. kind of intrigued by them... they are $99, but go on sale from time to time for $69. They are very lightweight, have a good feel to them, just curious how sensitive they are or if they are worth the $$$$. any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

Their rods were rated very good for the price by one of the fishing/hunting magazines earlier this year in their gear rating issues. I have also been intrigued by them, but I am rod poor and can not justify burying more until I break one...oops, what was that cracking sound..lol...

I use them regularly and for the money you can't beat them in my opinion. I catch them when their on sale and that makes them even better. Just recently ran the crankshaft zx rod for $49 dollars.

I have the cranking rod. It is light, I like the grip and for the money I'll be getting some more. I just hope they keep offering them after being bought out by BP.

Great... Thanks for the replies. I think I'll keep watching them and try to pick up a few to try out... maybe Cabela's will have some good black Friday deals on em next month.

I have one and like it just fine. Nothing spectacular but not much to complain about.
