I can't remember which is best for clear water and lots of sun. Does anyone have a preference on glass vs plastic? Will y'all help me make my decision for purchase, please

580 glass easy I have the 580 Plastic as well and only really use them for everyday used.

Glsss....the plastic lenses I have (had!) scratched REALLY easy....then they delaminated.

580G all day. unless you are in the ocean...the green is all you need.

We had to limit our conversations about the lake because of this rule. People need to be held accountable. Unless they are your teammates, sharing info is against the rules right now. It's just how it is!

plastic lenses are lighter. IMO after wearing them all day, the weight difference is noticeable. I opted for the 580P mostly due to cost. College kids don't have a lot of money lol. I take pretty good care of my lenses so I'm not worried about scratches. Green lenses for bassin' like everyone else said

Glsss....the plastic lenses I have (had!) scratched REALLY easy....then they delaminated. true dat...I've got to have rx lenses and my rx apparently can't be don't in the 580g, so Costa moved me to 580p which delaminated twice. Costa finally moved me to trivex lenses, have had no problems.
The driving force and secret desire of every bass fisherman, is to one day be a crappie fisherman............Could it be that the good Lord just smilies and looks the other way when a fisherman tells a lie?
