Under Water Video - What Fish Do To Your Lures When You Can't See Them.

I recorded this footage in Miami a few weeks ago. Pretty cool to see, and even better in slow motion.
I was the camera man (left hand) and the fisherman (right hand), and could not see exactly what was happening in real time.

Very cool! Just goes to show how important it is to feel you lure in the water...would be almost impossible to get a hook set if there was any hesitation.

I always set the hook as soon as possible when I feel the first tick, tap, thump...whatever you want to call it. I might miss some fish that would have come back and taken the bait, but I figure I'll catch a lot more that would have spit it out if I had tried to "see if they are there." If I can feel the fish, the fish can feel me.

Maybe this wouldn't help in this situation, but if the lure was dropped on a slack line and you were watching the line maybe the fish wouldn't be dropping it before you could swing on it.

That sure is a cool video. I would love to walk around and stick fish like that.
