hello everyone,

Does anyone have any experience with sending in sunglasses to have them repaired? what what your experience like? cost, etc.

I have two pairs, both of which have damage to the soft plastic pieces that are glued to the harder frame (around the nose, etc). Is it worth sending in for that or should I just use superglue?

I have sent a couple of pairs in for repairs. They will ask you to create an account and provide a credit card number. All repairs are like 10-12 dollars. If the repair falls out of warranty specs, they charge your card accordingly, but they will contact you and let you know before proceeding to get your approval. The first time, it cost me 12 bucks because like you, the rubber nose piece came loose. The second time it cost me $100 because the glass lens was cracked and was not covered. Once you submit a request, they will send you a shipping label. Just follow the instructions and its dummy proof. Hope this helps. https://www.costadelmar.com/repair

Same as above. My frame cracked on the side and they fixed it for the $12. It was pretty fast too.

Thanks y'all! As for warranties, do I have to provide any proof or purchase or anything else for it to be applied?

They did not ask for any proof of purchase. As long as they are Costa's and not a knock off, they will fix them.
