Humorous short stories, mostly fishing related, about life on the Brazos River. Caution, readers have warned against reading these stories at work because it can be hard to explain sudden loud laughter. Other readers have warned against reading these while drinking coffee, milk and sodas because laughing with a mouth full of liquid can be, well, embarassing and a bit messy.

Excellent entertainment filled with hilarity! Lloyd Tackitt has proved he's mastered tale telling in the humorous short story format with these excellent tales. His brilliant character development and down-home word weaving guarantees a chuckle or outrageous belly laugh at the most inconvenient time, an excellent purchase for any fisherman, or in my case, the angler's spouse.

My greatest fun was to flip randomly through the pages of this top quality paperback to find diverse characters from the shopaholic in "Danger! Danger!" to the grandparent's antics in "How Not to Catch Bait" and the determined grandson battling a Pro in "Granny's Teeth".
