Retired?? Heck, I'm not retired. I work regularly, half day every week or two when the weather's not too hot or too cold. Remember whether to fish or not is a major decision. Doing nothing can be a planned activity.

Think I will go pour a few jig heads.

Friends ask me what I do now that I'm retired...
My reply is: If I'm not fishing, not much, and I usually don't start doing that until around 10 o'clock! banana

An old retired guy once told me, "I can plan one thing a day, and if I don't start on it before noon it doesn't get done".

hahaha tbox its workin the opposite for me. Use to fish alot as a kid but I have played golf for 20 some odd years and played in college. All my golf buddies ask where I am on the weekend....roflmao. I have to say fishing is winning over golf. Nothing like feeling that thump and cruising to that next spot at sunrise or sunset on the lake. I'm addicted for sure.

I retired the 26th of August this year and I'm getting in my best fishing ever, I enjoy cooking and hunting the American dream!

Retirement is great. I pick the days and weather to hunt and fish.

Retired in 2005 and still only fish on Saturdays. After retiring
your week consists of six Saturdays and one church day!
