hire a guide that knows the lake and get him to show you the lanes you can run. That will be your quickest way to fine where to run

I have lived in Tyler and fished Palestine for close to 20 years and I still can't run the north end with any level of confidence. One of the last times I tried it I hit a stump with my prop running wide open. The guys who do run the narrow trails up there tell me they are running within a couple of feet of huge stumps.

My tournament partner been fishing the lake 30+ years and basically has told me all above, Jake probably gave you best idea. Use google earth then get out and idle with side image

This, I had a buddy show me how to run the majority of the lake up to the the power lines, and copied the trails over to my graph, the rest is basically idle. I dont really feel great going up there but its night and day vs what i knew before.

was just up there last weekend. lake is almost 2ft low I think....you almost couldn't run the power lines it was so shallow. I wouldn't run it if I had the trails even LOL.....sorry it's just too risky IMO.

There's no way I'd try it on my own.

I think I'll hire some guides, learn all the routes and lanes on the north end, then make a boat lanes card for Palestine. Just to pizz off all the locals roflmao Biggest buncha "it's my lake and I can run it but you can't" because those tracks lead to the very best super secret spots where all the tournaments are won. Worse than Raybob and Conroe anglers, combined. roflmao

There are sandbars that move up there with current from the river, stumps are a problem but many don't know about the sandbars which are just as bad!

It's definitely run at your own risk and anyone who gives you the safe areas to run are taking a chance as well. The north end is hardly safe at this level unless you are confident and have run it before.
