What baits do you use other than football jig and c-rig in winter time?

Hopkins Shorty Spoon A lot of times during the Winter bass will suspend over creek channels where there's baitfish and I like to target them with a jigging spoon. This is spoon is built well and has a great vibration that you can actually feel. Revenge Tail Spinner Another great option for suspended bass or around docks is a tail spinner. There are times when the bass can become active during the Winter and this is a good choice. Real lifelike detail and it's made in the USA. Fish Head Spin Last but not least, I love throw an underspin. This is great for humps, points, over creek channels, wherever. This is probably my most favorite bait to throw during the Winter. Be sure to thread a super fluke jr. on the back!

Jig and a jig and then a jig. Sometimes a big crank but usually a jig. I'm usually fishing pre spawn areas in winter and a slow moving jig makes a great meal.

What size underspin jig head are you using with a Fluke Jr?
Also, what type of retrieve have you had success with?
I've slow rolled a 3/8oz with a Super Fluke a little bit but no luck.

They eat the same things in the winter they do the rest of the year. Might have to slow down retrieve a bit but otherwise there is no need to have "winter" only baits.

90% of the time I have luck with either fb head jig, or a deep diving crankbait. I look for cover on structure, with hopefully bait balls on my graph. Fish tend to group up in the winter, once I've found an active spot, and I'm getting bit, I might very well stay the day there...

My favorite 3 are the 6XD, 8XD, and the 10XD.
But I also like a slow rolled spinnerbait, drop shot, lipless crank, and a big swimbait.
