Had not been on Tawakoni in 3-4 years at least. Decided to give Fork a break today after the rain let up and the wife and I headed over to Tawakoni. Really enjoyed the afternoon. Lots of bites flipping the water willows with a Texas rig and a jig. Also found a great frog bite in the potato grass. Did not get any toads but had enough consistent action in the 2-3lb range to make it fun. Will be back again next week for sure.

That's great news! Tawakoni was hard to find keeper bites on earlier this year. Tons of little fish. I think 2 years from now you'll get more solid keeper bites there than most lakes. Always been a favorite of mine!

Always been a favorite of mine! The amount of cover in the water right now is almost overwhelming. So many targets to throw to.
