I am heading for Rayburn tonight and saw a posting where someone showed one of the bays on Rayburn completed enclosed with what looked like Giant Salvania. I know it moves with the wind, but does anyone know how thick it has gotten this year above the bridge.

Not fishing a tournament. Wasn't aware of any launching out of caney. If someone could confirm if there is I'd appreciate it. I'll try to pick another area and stay out of their way

We are launching out of Jackson Hill. I imagine CAST will either go out of Humphries or Cassell Boykin

How'd you guys do? We struggled, caught 9 fish, none over 2 pounds. Two on yellow magic, two on Texas Rigged lizard, two on wacky, one on shaky head, two on c-rig,

Our high school division also fished yesterday out of Jackson Hill. It was a tough bite. Captains are allowed to fish in ours and we do weigh in one bass. I had big bass at 2.52 lbs and last captain to weigh in got me. He had 3.5 pounds. I caught a total of 8 fish. Couldn't get a real pattern down. About my 10th cast of the morning caught the 2.5 on a frog and never got another sniff on it, then caught one on a fluke, then nothing, then one on a white spinnerbait, the not another bite, switched to a jig and caught one, and then one flipping a paca craw. Ended the day with two more on fluke and stuck a really nice fish and knot came untied. I always use a palamor knot and some reason I decided to use a uni knot and didn't tighten it down very well. Lesson learned.
