I am not sure if it's the GoPro that created such a bend on the ACC rods, but per my opinion, rods that bend that much are not considered good crappie rods. The action is great though!

It's called slab heavy. fish
You put enough weight on a 1" diameter stainless steel rod, it to will bend. grin

And in the very first clip, that crappie was way down and hung up in brush. I was hossing that big boy out thru all the limbs.

I too, enjoyed the video very much. The action is unbeatable, and it showed fishing variety of covers.
I watched some other GoPro videos, they all show the cone view of rod bending all the way to the handle as well. Hence, I'm sure it's a cool GoPro distinctive illusion.
Once again, thanks for making the video(s), and please keep them coming!

Cool video Jessie!

What length rod are you using????
I have a rear handle 10'6" that I use for dipping in timber, but found that I prefer a shorter rod for other structure.
But that is mostly due to my back

Thank you Todd.
It's a 10' rod. I have really gotten into the rear seat rods the past couple years. I've accumulated quite a few now, but these are by far my favorite.
I know what you mean about back problems. I mainly sit the whole day fishing now. The new Millenium fishing seats do seem to help, But, I'll need to use them a whole lot more before I can truly say whether or not they really do help. As it is now, I'm thinking I may need some more back surgery before long.

Brother that intro took me 3 days to get it where I could sit back and say, "I can live with that". roflmao
The voice morphing was a booger. I had to do it on my phone, then figure out how to get it on the computer and work with it on Audacity. I had so many layers in my Editor I kept getting confused. I have a lot of respect for folks that do that mess for a living. flehan

After reading this, I went back and watched the video again, and you sir are absolutely correct. I had never noticed the picture bending before. It's very noticeable when you look at the horizon in the background, but I first noticed it when I was holding my rod straight up with no weight on the tip. It did look bent. cheers
