your biggest catfish weigh? Mine .... about a 10 pound channel. Hoping to raise that quite a bit this year. Bought a tritoon and have it wet docked at Tawakoni Marina so I'm reading all I can from you guys and trying to learn.

Always fished from the bank before and just settled into a spot and fished 8 or 10 hours. That's a pretty hit and miss way to fish I admit. Anyway, thanks for all the threads and advice as it really helps an old dog hopefully learn some new tricks.

I didn't catch this one, but it took 6 years before I got to see a fish bigger than 68lbs. My little cousin caught it and it went 71... And I remember that night after we got home and got cleaned up, we we're sitting on the front porch having a cup of coffee and he looked at me and very seriously started asking me some fishing questions. It was the kind of questions asked in a manner and respect that you only hear coming from a person, that has truely been scarred by the magnificant power of a trophy blue kitty catch on rod and reel... It was a great day, and one I will remember and cherish for a long time pardners... smile thumb fish
