I've searched the river, rocks, docks, rock piles, brush piles, pond dams, points and marinas and I can't catch a limit. It's easy to catch 40 fish a day but most are small.

Hit 'ol Hubbard weekend before last and best two went north of 50 lbs... of course we can't weigh-in them big'ol catfish! Bass fishing was good where it was good and off everywhere else. If your not getting bit then keep moving until you find that right stretch then hit it with everything you have!

I have never fished Hubbard. Is it safe to run the east and west shore line south of 30? I really don't want to tear the boat up fishing for a good cause.

Flip you can run parallel to the 30 rocks on both sides of the lake and not have to worry about hitting anything. I'll let other vets comment further.

You can run both banks south of 30 only have to watch for timber in the coves

Most of the lake between dam and I30 is safe, some of the coves along east shore have stumps, but those are pretty close to shore. South of I30 is submerged timber and requires caution.

Same here. Got 5 boats within 100 yards of me. Glad I got here first lol
