What an adventure the past month has been! I haven't been on the water in almost a month. I sold my house, bought some land and have been building a apartment in my new barn. I keep seeing all these posts on the good fishing and can't stand not being out there! Well I finally had a free day and took John and Anita out. They made the long drive from Weatherford for a week of fishing. We hit the water at noon and fished until 5pm. We caught fish at every stop except one and finished the day with 41 Palestine fatties. Pepops grape limeaid and a prototype bait produced the best. Our best pile was sitting in 15' of water and was loaded up. Hopefully thing will calm down for me so I. And I can spend a little more time out on the lake.
