Do any of you guys get it thru your phone? Or radio only? My new boat does not have a radio.

I wanted a radio but didn't want to drain the battery. I use it thru an app on the phone. Uses the built in radio on your phone so it doesn't drain the battery fast. Problem is, the reception is not great all over the lake.

I picked up a $5 walkman type radio at the dollar store that comes with earbuds. It picks up KMOO fine and if you dont want to use the earbuds you can pickup an external speaker on the cheap. I have a male to male mini-phono cord and hook to an aux input of a bluetooth speaker. I also have used the app but had problems with buffering on the live streaming.

I have an Alpine/Focal system in my boat. I can run the stereo system all day without it impacting the batteries enough to notice.

Pandora, and a waterproof Bluetooth speaker!

Best of both worlds. Lol. ....and it doesn't seem to impact the bite as much as you'd think. Unless it's really calm and quiet.

I like listening to KMOO when I go to East Texas. I even like listening to the General Store, its down to earth.
I also like to turn up some Pantera "Cowboys from Hell" real loud when someone gets too close to me.
