well I feel like I should just quit now! lol I fished sunday and caught 5 dinks biggest just under 2lbs.

Nope, it was floating just under the surface. I was catching some good fish up the river last week though, if the water stays clear it would be worth a try

Midway Twin Bridges and Speeegleville are L fine. I usually use Midway since it's closest to the house.

Twin Bridges is still closed for some reason.


That sucks. I really hope South 40 isn't forced to launch out of Lacy's Point. That two lane ramp is pretty terrible and I don't know that there is even enough room to fit all of the trailers. I guess people will probably just launch from other ramps and then run there.

This time of year I like to make the run up Hog Creek and the Middle Bosque. This time of year the bass start moving way back into the ends of these creeks following the shad. Don't be scared to fish in 18" of water. As long as there is laydown or cover they will generally be there. A watermelon senko or spinner bait works well.
