What material do you prefer (tungsten, brass, lead)?
What shape do you prefer?
What weight at what depth?

Most of the time I use lead egg sinkers 3/4oz when fishing 10ft and deeper. I like a light 5/16oz lead bullet sinker for fast dragging in 10ft or shallower.

I like The Rock made by Jewel Baits. I don't seem to get hung up as often and you can rig it two different ways.

I use brass n glass that I purchase at Star Mart near Lake Fork. If they are out I use lead slip sinkers. I mostly use 3/4oz weights. I have tried 1oz weights and really don't see any advantage to them over the 3/4. The 3/4 gets hung up less, at least for me it does.

Ive tried and used all of them over the years.
The last couple of years, I have gone back to just a 3/4-1 oz lead bullet weight above the swivel. Don't even use a clacker or bead anymore.

They're expensive but I've been using the Picasso tungsten flipping weights in plain color. I use braid as main line and they won't eat away at it. It took a little getting use to the feel of them and braid because you feel like you're getting bit but you get a very clear picture of what's on the bottom and I love it now. You can use a bead and or brass clacker not only for noise but as a knot protector but these weights work fine without them.

I used tungsten bullet 3/4oz for a long time but I fish fluorocarbon main line and they just knick it up too bad. Went back to 3/4oz lead egg sinkers and really other than losing a little sensitivity when going over bottom structure doesn't make any difference and is a lot cheaper.
