any suggestions on a replacement net? not interested in spending a ton of money. the one i had (blew out of the boat on the way home) was from the cabelas bargain cave. It was pretty basic with the mesh net. paid 15.00 for it and it was great.

Picked up a sliding handle, rubber Frabil net for $25 at Wally world a couple weeks ago for my father in laws boat. its nice but it could be bigger; had a 7 1/2 lber in it 2 weeks ago and the tail stuck out the end of it..
I say we fish 5 days a week and work 2.

Something like this is all you need.... or i can say the hell with a net and just have you dive off the back of the boat and fetch that fish, like you do with go pro cameras?
