The bite was definitely on today! Most bites came on a Yellow Magic early (bought it from Academy when someone posted the deal here a few days ago!) and a wacky rigged watermelon/red flake Yum Dinger later in the morning. I caught some bass on a weightless fluke around rocks and a couple on a chrome sexy Shad squarebill but the wacky worm in the willows found the bigger fish. The one below weighed 3.12. Better than working!

Nice fish! I agree the bite was on a bit. I came away with some numbers, 9 for the day. Biggest fish was only a 2.4. Primarily fished flooded vegitation close to steep drops or close to ponds or creek channels. Fun times.
All this and a paycheck.. Live the dream
