That technique is 10-15 years old. May be a blade changer but not a game changer. I have a few in my junk lure pile. The only name I can remember for one of them is a Roland Martin something. Has Smartwire on the blades.

That's the game changer!!! Changing your blades within seconds vs bringing out the tools the remove blades.. and Roland martins spinnerbait did not have the locking spring to allow you change blades!

I like it. BASS pro had some ones that the swivel would unscrew so you could change blades but they never lasted a few hours before the swivel came apart on a cast so I quit using them.

I'm pretty sure that Hildebrant made those years ago, I have a few. Do people really change blades very often?

Probably not with normal spinnerbaits because its time consuming to change of blades!! But with this one they probably would, seeing as that it only takes a few seconds to change blades! Also depends The area you're fishing.. it may be an area where you need to use Willow blades but you have on Colorado blades!
It's a preference thing guys lol.. I'm pretty new to the spinnerbait world and this one is by far the best one I've used!

I wish I had an old school spinnerbait fisherman to show me the ropes, too bad Ol' Elroy died before I got to meet him.
