I'm getting married on the 22nd and me and the wife are going for a few days to fish tawakini she loves to fish almost more than me but has never got to experience that lake. I'm just hoping for cooler water but I'm not sure if its been cool enough yet to drop temps. If its not do you guys think it will be by the 22nd? I know we can get on box fish regardless but I never have luck on that lake with trophies until cooler weather. I want it to be a trip she will remember but she does not want to wait for December. Any input or water temp reports would be appreciated!

Fish will still be scattered on the 22nd but on tawakoni there's always a pretty good chance for a trophy fish.Catch some fresh shad and drift areas with busted up shad

Main lake was 77 sat , creeks were 76 ish
Upper Sabine up north Sunday was 73 ish
