There is a large amount on Cedar Creek now, they came in with the cold front we had in August.

If you want to see cormorants.. Come to Falcon..

It is funny that they are protected by the feds.. And they don't even know they are here.. Much less the numbers we have.

We have a flock of thousands that does not migrate.. Last year they almost doubled..

There is currently a flock of at least ten thousand living on the Texas side between marker ten and marker nine..

TPWD knows they are here.. But won't do anything about them..

Typical Corruption in just another state department

They all want to keep their jobs and their pay and not worry about the general public

They used to black out the sky on Palestine, but it's been a while since I've been on that lake. Now days it'd be a safe bet to say if there's water, there will be cormorants. Stupid things shouldn't be protected.

No weighers I still have a case of 12ga shells. If TP&W allows it I will gladly relocate some to a fertilizer pile or turtle food.

Man those poor turtles- think how many turtles a cormorant could feed.

That's probably why they are still protected. Everyone sees them as a good for nothing bird, so it would end up being senseless killing with a lot of unused carcasses floating around everywhere. I wonder if they'd taste any good. All they eat is fish, so they've got to taste better than a bird that eats lake weeds.

Divers never taste as good as puddlers (the ones who eat lake weeds). Carnivores (cormorants) would taste awful. "bout like eagle, as Mr. Harper noted. roflmao
